If you have a long travel taco and use it for its built purpose, I think you should be able to answer that question! Welcome!

but is having pro on the side worth it. i probably wont go long travel on the runner up front. not really needed in the east. but the rear ill go to a custom long travel setup at 10inches.

the pro has always held excellent value.
for me, I just wanted the voodoo blue. The rest of the pro add ons didn’t matter to me

im at 23000 miles on the stock fox. Love the suspension. Added eibach springs for some lift and have no regrets. I’ll go king later

No regrets here but I don’t plan to change much on mine and wanted army green. My only concern with Lunar Rock is it seems to be a color Toyota is slapping on lots of vehicles so it may not hold the value as much as some other Pro colors that are a little more exclusive. Only way I’d pay for a Pro that I planned to do a lot of changes to would be if I just had to have that color. I’m with the above post...I’m very happy with the suspension on the Pro. It’s solid and rides great.

Just my opinion, but if you're going to mod it anyway, the only reason to buy the PRO is because you love the exclusive color and just have to have it. Honestly I don't see why anyone would buy a PRO in like white or black, but that's just me.

For something you plan on modding, the TRD Offroad has the stuff you need (locker, crawl, MTS), without paying extra for stuff you don't (Pro wheels, tires, suspension).

think a modded pro keep its value and get more in the end in like 2 to 3 years when sold over a trd offroad

Maybe if you return it to stock. Otherwise I don't know, mods may hurt the value unless you find a very specific buyer. And even then, you'd still lose money on the mods.

Nope. Better off getting an OR and modding/upgrading if you want to make/keep $$.

It will be much more difficult to get your “mod money” back on a pro. Put $3k into a $50k pro and people start thinking they can do a lot better with $53k off the bat. People spending $53k on vehicles can also spend $60k.

If resale is priority #1, get a PRO and don't modify anything. However, all models hold their value extremely well.

If you're going to mod, start with a lower trim as @4runningMan mentioned. The Off-road has everything the PRO has aside from the fox 2.0's and real tires as far as capability. Based on what I read, you'd be chucking that stuff anyway.

    Welcome to the forum!

Based on this, a PRO would be senseless for you, unless you really want the color.

I'd say Pro isn't worth it. And besides, Lunar Rock (Cemint as many have called it) is a chick color. ;)

i guess another question for you guys. i understand the difference in suspension and what not between the pro and offroad. but i am seeing the pro now has dual zone climate. is that on the offroad too?

if you going to change the Suspension and upgrade it then do not pay the extra $$$ for the Pro go with the Off Road and get the suspension that you want thats it unless you want that special color
