So I recently purchased a 2019 TRD Off-road. I currently have 265/70r17 duratracs on TRD wheels. I’d really like to level it out about 3” so I can get some bigger tires, any suggestions on tires? Looking for something aggressive that’s still solid for pavement, as big as possible without having to do any trimming, and I’d prefer to keep the TRD wheels I currently have. Any pictures of your 5th gens at 3” with larger tires would be awesome so I can get some visual representation!

Picked up a 2019 TRD for the wife and put a 3”/2” leveling kit (ToyTech), 285/70 BFG KO, and wheel spacers. Had to change the UCA’s to adjustable to get a proper alignment, and a Body mount chop to keep the front wheels from rubbing. I’m real happy with the end result.

As you can see from a couple of the above posts, you don't need a 3" lift to fit 285's.

The most important factors to minimize rubbing with 285's are wheel width, backspacing, and alignment.

There's no problem putting a 3" lift on if you want it, you just don't need it.

You can level out the truck by lifting the front roughly 1.6" - 1.75" higher than the rear.

You don't need a lift yes. But definitely recommended to prevent lot of adjustments to prevent tire rubbing

Actually wheel spacer will cause more rubbing on the fender liner and mud flap. Spacer is to prevent rubbing if you are rubbing on the UCA
