Loading up a TV at Best Buy!!

I will never forget the day I bought my new TV. I ordered a 70 inch Sony online from Best Buy. With Sony soundbar and powered wireless sub. Went in to pick-up the guys were like did you bring a truck? I said no a 4Runner. They looked at me and shook their heads. That TV slid right in there like it was made for it. Had to remove the headrests on the front seats. And there was plenty room for the sound equipment along side of it!!!

 

Ha just had the same experience with a 75". Fit with no issues

 

Will it fit in the box or do you have to take it out of the box

 

It fit with the box, but just barely

 

I just got my tv a couple months ago, but after looking at the dimensions of the box i had Costco deliver it, very glad i did.

 

I used to work in an electronics store 20 years ago and you have NO IDEA how often people would come in, buy a rather large TV, have their entire family with them, and pop the trunk of their Honda Civic actually expecting it to fit in there. The best part was that I was always the AH for telling them it wasn’t going to fit. Somehow it would have fit had I not pointed out their trunk was too small, according to them. That exact scenario seriously happened every other day for seven years!

 

Yeah, I didn’t even leave the house, i got on line for the dimensions, broke the tape out, measured every angle I could think of, saw it wasn’t going to work. It was a 83” lol.
