    Aloha from Maui. I need to replace the hatch door key cylinder.Can I just remove the molding around the license molding or do I need to remove the panel inside the hatch door? Napa wants $142.00 for a new cylinder,too much?fullsizeoutput_1018.jpg

    Its got to come out from the inside. One 10mm bolt holds it in along with the plug. Start by removing the plastic cover at the pull down handle. After the cover is removed a 10mm bolt can be removed. Then the plastic panel can be popped of the door at the bottom working around to the top. Then it is slid up to be removed. There will be wiring and small access panels that also take 10mm. Take your time. Its kind of like working upside-down with the door open.
