I originally had an 18 TRD OR Base, which I ended up selling at about 34k miles. Just picked up an 18 Limited with about 64k miles, and noticed it rides a little different. It feels like it a little more sluggish when accelerating, but this could be my imagination. I had a non-4Runner for a handful of months in between, and I could just still be used to that. But would this be because of the 20” wheels? Also, it feels like there is a slight vibration, when accelerating, under my left foot when it’s not on the foot rest. Again, could be my imagination or it could have been something my TRD had that I didn’t notice. Anyways, neither issue bothers me, but I just want to make sure they’re normal. Thanks.

It's the 20". I test drove the Nightshade. I loved the hefty feel to it.
But, yeah, slightly different from the SR5 I decided to get.

With regards to acceleration driving both of them back to back I didn't feel any difference. I highly suggest you do a thorough check with a good tech to see what's going on.Maybe there could be a very little difference in max acceleration where TRD is only 2wd and you feel like front go little higher vs Limited is full time 4wd so both front and rear push you forward and front doesn't go up as 2wd. Maybe. I didn't feel the difference on normal driving and don't floor it because I'm very concerned about taking care of mine.

Suspension wise Xreas on Limited was pretty good. Way better than the Fox on my new TRDPRO on road. 20in stock tires are not bad. When I got them from dealership they had 40psi. I dropped to spec and it drove well. Later I upgraded the 17in wheels and tires.

I did notice the brakes and parking brakes are different on each. The 4 4runners (right now I only have 2) has 4 different levels of braking feel and different parking brake positions. Some need more press and some needed less.
