Lightbulbs and seat repair

Can anyone let me know- wanting to change all my lightbulbs to led- I’ve heard changing them can affect the amperage - and your Cruise control speed. Has anyone experienced this? Or is it an easy change?

Also- I have a small hole in the side of my driver seat- above the seat controls- would a leather patch work well? Or is there a better solution.

 

I would be very surprised if changing bulbs like that would affect other systems.

Would it be safe to assume you have the sof-tex faux leather seats? I don’t know what the best course of action it but since you’re asking about leather it implies that you have that versus cloth seats since unless I’m mistaken, the SR5 and TRD Off-Road have cloth and the Premium versions of both trims come with sof-tex.

 

Yeah I didn’t really think it could but I had to ask.
And mine is a trd off road and I most def have the sof-Tex. no cloth.

 

Look around on here. Some people have reported crazy problems when switching to LED lighting.

 

I changed my interior lights to led, no problems

Switched all my interior lights to LED. Did my puddle and license plate lights as well. Made a huge difference and didn't effect anything as far as I can tell.

I used the diode dynamics kit. I'm not sure why other people have reported problems... Maybe cheap faulty lights?
