Hey yall! I have a 2022 SR5. I am very new to the scene of 4runner mods and builds. I have no intention of taking my 4runner off-road. The most "off-roading" it will probably do, is driving it to a camp site lol. All this to say, I don't know what to do with it when it comes to leveling or lifting it so it doesn't have that stock, forward leaning look.

If I want it to look like the TRD Pro height, or something similar to it, what do I need and what should I do?

Thanks in advance. And if theres an existing thread on this lmk!

I would get a .5 inch Cornfed spacer which would give you a 1 inch lift to match the TRD Pro. If not offroading this is the cheapest route to get the look you want and ride should remain the same as stock.

    Oooh look, another mod.....

    First off: Welcome aboard!
Second: Thanks for admitting that you'll be a pavement princess. So few do. I'm a light off roader like yourself. The camp site roads I drive down could be navigated with a Honda Accord.

Now....if that's what your main goal is, don't lift it or level it. You won't get the return on investment to lift it. Sure, it'll look cool, but can you afford to piss away the money on something you won't ever use? I don't know your financial situation, but I wouldn't burn money.

Leveling isn't a great idea either, in my opinion. The "rake" is there for a reason. When/If you tow or haul something, the rake goes away. I'm not totally against it, but the look doesn't bother me. Try driving it for 2 - 5k miles before deciding to do a lift and/or leveling. Don't be quick to jump on the band wagon.

Oh.........show us pics of your new ride!

Leave it be. Mine is stock and I off-road all the time.

    Welcome to the madness. ;)

A1" lift in the front will still have rake, and looks infinitely better than stock.

Do you run AT tires? If so, which ones?

Yes, Nitto Ridge Grappler’s, but that’s one of many many choices.

Looks are that important? Just know that all mods put that little bit of doubt/paranoia in your head. That squeak/rattle/knock makes you wonder if it's something about the mod or just a stock issue. If you have a problem, stock is easier to deal w/. Custom can be a life style lol.
