    Currently nothing. King suspension ordered
    Hello everyone,

    I bought the wife a 2020 TRDOR 4Runner.

Im wanting to lift it. So far what I have is:

-Kings 2.5s w/ reservoirs front and back (278-EXT-650 up front and 278-EXT in the rear)
    -OME medium springs
    -Icon delta UCAs
    - toyotech diff drop kit
-Spidertrax spacers till we get new wheels

all of which I’m still waiting on arrival.
I still need to order new sway bar links.

This will be my wife’s daily driver. With place for this to be the families over landing rig. I have a Taco and never really messed with rear control arms.

My question is, are rear upper and lower control arms necessary?

note. Some people call them rear control arms, some call them rear links. I’m not talking about the sway bar or track bar.

Rears no. Front, depending on the lift height and even then could be a maybe. Just keep in mind if you’re going to 3” of lift in the rear and depending on specs for the shock at extended length, extended brake lines could be something to consider. And then the rear control/trailing arms could also be something to consider as it could limit the travel of the rear suspension.
