Leveling with Bilsteins- which notch on the shock

I have a 2021 ORP that now has 17x7 TRD wheels and 275/70/17 BFG KO's (that don't rub I have 4 Bilsteins ordered, which notch do you use to make the rig level, the 1" or 2 " setting ? I even thought about doing the 2.5" in the front and then raise the rear an inch, is a spacer acceptable for this ? What other option is there to raise the rear ? I really don't want a big lift kit, this will be a mostly street machine that will see some desert use, nothing fast or extreme. It's main use is to haul the dogs around along with my wife and granddaughter

I've heard of people going as high as 2" in front to level. Personally, I prefer to maintain a slight rake to avoid being nose-high when hauling or towing. 1" in front should give it a stance similar to the PRO.

There may be spacers available for the rear, but lift coils are generally considered a better option. These will also allow you to choose a spring rate based on your uses.

For mostly street use, less lift will be better. I have 2.3"/1.5" lift and like the stance I have. I mainly wanted bigger tires, so I didn't want much lift. Even for off-roading, a big lift isn't necessary unless you're doing hardcore stuff.

 

The 1.75" setting will be level.

If you still want a little rake, the 0.85" setting will give you that.

use the 1" cornfed spacers for the Rear OEM coils, then 1.65 in the front, I think its the 4/5 setting. Makes it perfect.

 

Here is what I did just to level my 4 runner. I installed Bilstein 5100 2nd notch from the bottom which gives 0.85 but I also added a 3/8" spacer on the diver side and 1/4" spacer on the passenger side. This still provided a rack by 1/2" and removes the front lean that our Toyota Truck has due to the battery, driver and gas tank being all on the driver side.
