    Stock....for now
Recently purchased a 2013 Limited 4Runner which is totally stock for now. In searching for upgrades/updates I find that many items are actually for 2014+ and don't actually fit the 2010-2013. For example, I have been looking at upgrading the tail lights to LED's. Also searched for headlight upgrades and a couple other items.

It is just me or have others with the early 5th gen Runners found the same thing?

    TIA

I've 2013 with 2020 LED Tail Lights, Floor liners and 2020 Air Injection valves. Everything fits fine since it is a same platform/generation sans front lights and bumpers and some minor exterior trim.

I also have a 2013 Limited and they do sell the 2014 up taillights with a harness that will plug and play your factory harness. As far as lights go with it having a reflective shield your best bet would be LED's and not HID's will throw the light all over the place. You can also do the H9 bulb conversion which will give your more light as opposed to the factory H11 bulbs. DSC06152.jpg
