Here's a reference for every toyota 4runner paint code for every generation.

    http://www.toyotareference.com/4runner

(Edit to add it doesn't cover 18+, but every year before that is noted)

Yep, you will have to get a 2016 Pro to get that particular color in a 4Runner.

I’ve decided to just go with white since these Qucksands are too expensive and far away from me. What do you folks think about a white 2019 TRD Pro with 25k miles listed at 46k? Thanks. Hope be a real member soon

I guess the more reason if you’re settling on color do you really need / want the pro? That’s more than I paid for my 2020 trd orp and my wife’s 21 venture. If you plan on changing the suspension any I’d look at a lower trim model with no miles and be happier

    No way I'd pay that.

I'd pay less and buy and brand new TRD ORP.

All great points. There is a 21 new TRD ORP to look at Saturday too. I agree that I might change the rack and suspension sooner than later. KBB says that white 2019 Pro averages 46k though.

Still have our quicksand 4Runner and Tundra double cab. Best color vehicles I've ever bought. We take these rigs way off the beaten path and they bring us home every time. Wife loves the lunar rock so it may be car payment time again.

I agree with this wrapping should be about $3500-5000 Buy new one and then you can have the color you want and protect the original color for resale

So the main difference between the Pro and ORP are the shocks, wheels and rack?

Bigger A/T LT Tires, Slight Lift, Sliders, Rack, Lights, etc.
Front grille, engine/oil pan skid plate, FOX linear internal bypass (fantastic, but doesn't want to be messed with) suspension, A/T tires, skinnier lower offset wheels, roof rack, exhaust system, better stereo with more speakers, remote start, shift knob, unique colors... I think that's it.

Don't settle. If you want a Pro (specifically the specialty color), be patient until the right deal for your pocket comes around. It will happen, but it will take time and research on your part. However, when that time does come, you need to be ready to pull the trigger. I played the patience game, and once I found one and did all the things you'd do before committing, I purchased a one-way plane ticket w/ check in hand a drove back over the course of 2 days. That's how I ended up with my Inferno Orange, which is the "special" color for 2015. You wont regret waiting. No pun intended, but the quicksand goes quick!

I saw it online but PA is a long way from Tamp FL. Looking right now at a 2019 White Pro with 21k miles. KBB says average cost is 43k. Thoughts?

Personally, I wouldn't buy a pro that's a normal color. You can throw Pro wheels on any white 4Runner and people won't know the difference from 50 feet away. To me, the thing that's most special about the pro was the exclusive color. The only way I would buy a 2019 Pro would be if it's the Voodoo Blue color.

Otherwise, just buy any color TRD off-road, (pretty sure you could get a NEW one for 46k), and throw your wheels and suspension of choice on it and be dollars ahead over buying a Pro.

Not really. It sounds like a lot when listed, but a lot of that stuff you can add after the fact or is unnecessary. Like exhaust, completely unnecessary. Doesn't add any more power, just makes it louder. Also a shift knob, order it online for fifty bucks.

The skid plate looks cool, but you have to take it off every time you change your oil. There are better aftermarket options available.

The Toyota remote start kind of sucks, because as soon as you open the door the motor shuts off. Aftermarket systems which are 300-500$ don't do this.

Most of its appearance stuff that you can put on any 4Runner. The ONLY thing that can't easily be replicated is the color. Even the suspension, every once in awhile I see Fox TRD Pro suspension come up for sale for about a grand.

They did some updates for 2020, so a brand new one will have some features that even the older Pros don't have. They have a better infotainment, and some updated safety tech.

IMO unless you have money to burn, the only reason to get the pro is if you MUST have the exclusive color. And personally I think the last two years of pro colors are ugly. The lunar rock is a RAV4 color when I look at it, and the army green just looks a little off to me.
