    Hello everyone,

I'm looking into going up to 285/70/17s on my vehicle and these Kanati Trail Hog A/Ts have recently caught my eye. As much as I love my current Grabber ATXs. These tires are a little bit cheaper, and everything I've heard about them sounds good. Plus, for off-road purposes they have a bit stronger sidewall than the Grabbers from what I've read.

I'm torn between the two options, and I was wondering if anyone else is running the Trail Hogs on their 4Runner, and if so: How well are you liking them? Thanks in advance!

I'm curious also. Their tread design is pretty aggressive.

Just another cheap Chinese company pushing into the US market.

Edit: Looks like these are made in Indonesia.

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
I would stick with brands that have already proven themselves. Never heard of that brand.
On the low end price side: Falken, Kendra, Cooper / Mastercraft.

Yeah, I changed my mind on those Kanati's really quickly. I liked the look of them, but, the tread wears down on them super fast and the sipes just disappear completely. I ended up grabbing a set of the Kenda Klever R/Ts instead.

Good choice! A few people in our local 4Runner/Toyota groups here in GA running those and they’ve had great things to say about them so far. These are at the top of my list for new tires right now. Let us know what you think of them once you get them on and get some miles on them!
