I have a couple 1st gen Tacomas, and am looking to get a 4Runner at some point in the future. It seems like a taco a third row of seats and without a bed ;-). So I thought joining and getting some background information would be a good idea.

I do lots of offroading and love to do recoveries. I run a small machine shop and produced a run of recovery rings, that are currently listed on ebay https://www.ebay.com/itm/293349401954
I do custom laser engraving on the rings if you want, message me. I also do a 5% discount for direct sales to forum members, message me.

Please be kind to a Taco owner, we are all Toyota buddies...

How are those used? I see a soft shackle attached but I'm not visualizing exactly how this interfaces with the winch cable...?

This is a custom engraved one from facebook. The winch line is going around the outside and the soft shackle is attached to a tree strap. Can be used every where a snatch bock can be used, with less weight, and no bearings to wear out or get dirty.
