    Hi, my name is Gene, and I'm a Toyota fanboy. :) I have logged almost 600,000 miles on just two trucks, one Taco one Tundra. I own two 5.7 Tundras now and I hope to drive one of them until I die.

    But my wife is finally ready to give up her 2006 Wrangler, and she's looking at 4Runners. I'm 100% in favor of trading the Jeep for anything Toyota, so I'm here to research, listen, and learn. Cuz I know diddley squat about 4Runners.

    Seriously, I've had 4WDs for 30-40 years, starting with a Subaru BRAT :)bananadance:). Worked as a Federal Wildlife Biologist for 20+ years driving 4WD most of the time. Live in the Eastern Cascades and drive to SoCal from WA State 2x a year (or more) in all kinds of weather. HANDS DOWN, best 4WD I've driven or owned!

    I was briefly stationed at Ft. Knox. If you can believe it, I never once saw E'town. I went north to Cinci every weekend because there was this girl up there who ... you know.
