    Hi all,

    Nice to be here. Just replaced my stock nitto Terra’s with 275/70/17 Falken Wildpeaks on stock rims. Can’t complain about the Nittos as I got 50k out of them but wow what a difference. I go through a bunch of mud off-road for hunting season each year and the nittos became racing slicks real quick. I have not had to use 4wd yet and the ride quality of these is amazing. Have 0 rubbing even when fully stuffed - almost making me wish I would have tried to go 285 stock. Was dead set on ko2’s but super happy I went this way. What mods should I do over the next year?

    Welcome from Wisconsin! Mods over the next year? Well, you should weigh out what mods would be beneficial to you and go from there. It is way to easy for people on the forum to spend money on mods for you! Take it slow and enjoy the forum..... BTW, deer gun season opens in Wis. on saturday, any way good luck to you and all hunters no matter where you are!

    Another welcome from Wisconsin!

    @Toy4X4 gives good advice!

    Keep driving and using the 4Runner and you'll figure out which mods you really need or want. With decent tires, the 4Runner will get to a lot of places.

    If you're going off the beaten path, especially solo, some recovery equipment would be the best place to start. A set of traction boards and a shovel are probably the most valuable if you're usually alone.. Recovery strap if you usually have another vehicle along. Some folks will carry a high capacity come-along and some straps to use it like a manual winch. The list goes on. :D
