Well we got our 21 orp the other day. Did a few mods already. Husky liners, black badge overlays, Aries aero tread side steps for the kiddos, obligatory pro grill with white raptor lights...

oh, and can u say rail dust!? Hit it with some iron remover then clayed and waxed. All smooth now.

Man it looked clean. I got ready to wax it today and the surface felt rough. She’s smooth as silk now tho.

It's fairly common, mainly shows on white cars. My current T4R and my previous Honda Civic had rail dust.

Clay bar usually takes care of it.

That is bs if a dealer if a dealer gives you a new vehicle looking like that.

I have never used the clay bar but always polished and waxed but started off with a good finish. Great one more thing to worry about now

Yah, I know. I guess the best solution is don't buy a white car. ;)

If my silver one looks like that I am out. I have never had a car with that issue.

You don’t Always “see” all of the iron particles but you can feel them. I guarantee that you can spray some iron remover on your cars and you will get some purple streaks.

The spray will take the big of it off then the clay will take care of the rest. It’s glass smooth now.

If you're picky about your paint, then a yearly clay wipe is gonna be in the cards..

Yeah, I am going to have to read up that clay bar. I have always used Meguiars #7 Polish followed by Mothers Carnuba wax on a vehicle right after purchase. I do it religiously every 3 months.
