I have a 2024 TRD Pro and want to set the Multimedia display to "Day" mode so that the display isn't so bright at night. Per the Multimedia System manual page 34 & 35, I should touch "Menu", "Display", and then "Day Mode". The problem is my "Display" screen does not show the "Day Mode" button, only the "Screen off" and "Adjust Contrast/Brightness" buttons. I've tried it with the headlights both off and on, engine off and on, and every combination I could.
    Anyone have a solution?

Maybe it has a light sensor that needs detect darkness before it gives the option of “day”

If you select “day” mode at night, it will make the display very bright.

I agree with McSpazatron. I have the light sensor, and when the lights are on and the sensor detects sunlight, the screen goes black. When there is no sunlight, it turns white. To adjust the brightness, use the scroller knob just left of the steering wheel.

It's the multimedia display, the one that shows navigation, not the instrument cluster.

Yeah, I get that. What I mentioned changes the infotainment system. Mine is set to "Auto" so it brightens/darkens automatically. I'm not blinded by a bright ass white screen at night.

I was blinded by mine at night too. I watched a YouTube that showed me to turn down the little dial on the left side of the steering wheel ever so slightly and voila! It dims the screen anytime I turn on the headlights.

Man, you guys are the best. My dash light roller was all the way bright. A little roll down and "click" the Nav screens dims like the dash. Thanks again guys.

Toyota/ Lexus owners are the best and smartest people, that's why I encourage my daughter to not date Dodge/Chrysler/ Jeep owners :)

ugh, you’ve been driving with all the panels on max brightness at night? That would’ve driven me up a wall! Glad you got it sorted!

Dodge owners aren't "owners" for very long. They have the highest repo rates of any vehicles. Whenever I see a brand new Dodge Charger or Challenger, I call it "A pre-repo".

Actually, I'm pretty old and retired. I rarely go driving at night.

It's winter time, which means it gets dark a lot sooner. I'm not retired but I don't drive much at night either. But the other day it got dark by 4pm, which meant I drove home from work in the dark.
