Is this rust too much? 2000 4Runner 5Speed

Hi!,

I'm new to 4Runners and looking to get a 3rd Gen. I found one for sale close to me, but I'm concerned about the amount of rust underneath.

• 2000 4Runner SR5
• 5 Speed
• 178K Miles
• Clean Carfax with no frame or accident history
• Small spot of rust on the right rear bumper
• $7K

Can you tell me if this level of rust is too great? I don't have the means to deal with any rust repair since I don't have a garage.

If you were anal just wire brush and some paint.

 

For the age and based off of those three pictures, No.

 

That's pretty minor in the world of 4Runner rust
