Is there a aftermarket 16 in wheel front brake backing plate?

Looking for front brake backing plates R&L. OEM prices are expensive for a 22 year old truck.

Have you tried checking Rock Auto for those particular parts if on a budget?

 

Yes searched the web. everyone has 15 in for around $ 38.00 each
No one has 16 in except toyo dealers $ 60+ to 80 + ea + shipping.
Which is excessively pricey for a stamped pc of steel. Typical 4runner rust issue.

 

My truck was missing one when I got it. Over 10k miles now and it hasn't affected anything so far.

 

Finding them in a junk yard is probably your only option.
