Is a carbon fiber hood worth it?

    So i just got a lift kit and it severely affected my gas mileage and I read somewhere that a carbon fiber hood is lighter than the stock hood and can give you better mileage. Is this true?

    Not enough to ever pay for itself.

    You'll save more gas by slowing down a bit.

    Seriously, I doubt you'd even save .1 MPG

    I highly doubt there would be any discernable difference.
    It would be maybe a 50 lb reduction? that won't affect MPG.
