So anybody now been running Iron Man Foam cell pro lift kit for awhile? Durability, comfort?

I know they recently had some issues with their UCA ball joints, had a recall, replaced them all. I know their UCAs are made in China. Sometimes though made in China can be good quality if properly supervised, QC measures out in place - other times it is hit or miss.

Looking at their 2.5” front, 2” rear as want to maintain some rake, I don’t care for the completely level look.

Considering this set up vs the tried and true old man emu Nitro 884 front/895 rear.

My biggest considerations: ride comfort, long term durability (don’t want having to replace rebuild in several years), current availability (can’t wait 3-4 months for dobinson and don’t want more expense set ups like Fox, king, etc) . Daily driver occasional light Offroads.

So Ironman good quality ? Like to hear from those that have this kit. I do like with their stage 3 kit basically get all you need in one package.

I have the 2.5” front/2”rear suspension with Dirt King UCAs. I’ve put 20,000 miles on this setup so far. Here are my thoughts:

    1) On the highway and off road, this suspension is fantastic. Off road, I take whoops and washboard roads at 35-40mph comfortably with tires aired down to 20 psi. On the highway with tires at 35 psi the ride is smooth.
2)For regular driving around town, it is firm. I feel that I am just a tad over sprung in the rear, which brings me to point #3.
    3) Absolutely, positively get extended sway bar links and a panhard correction kit for the rear axle. This will prevent the ass end from wiggling at every bump and turn and smooth out the ride noticeably.
    4) Overall, I’m satisfied with this setup. I am willing to sacrifice a little comfort on my daily driving in exchange for total comfort on my extended road trips and off-road excursions.

    Thank you !

Did you find with this set up you still had some factory rake? As I’m not for the leveled look. Why definitely don’t want the 3/2 kit.

many reason you went with dirt King UCA instead of Ironman UCA?

yes, I have heard both the extended rear sway bar links and trackbar relocation bracket make a huge difference.

also what did you do tire and wheel wise ?

My experience has been the same as KYFHO's, though I only have a couple of thousand miles so far and I stayed with the OEM UCA.

My tires are stock size Wildpeaks/OEM ORP wheels, and with the stock suspension I was getting quite a bit of vibration through the steering wheel-had the tires rebalanced and played with tire pressure to mitigate with running at 32PSI being the solution

My biggest concern with going with a lift was affecting KDSS and through research it seemed that Ironman kits addressed this the best with their adjustable panhard bar and endlink bracket

So far I am super happy, nose dive seems to be eliminated, reduced body roll etc. offroad behavior is improved over stock as well

I was able to increase tire PSI to 35PSI with no vibration-only reason is to possibly preserve the best MPGs possible

on a side note, you could also save a couple of $$ going with their Nitro Gas shocks-we put these on my sons 4th gen and this was a huge improvement on his rig-he got 3" front 2" rear.

in a nutshell, I am satisfied, and believe the IM4X4 setup is a great way to go

I had already purchased the DK UCAs as I had originally planned on another setup.

I still have some decent rake, which I wanted because I load this bitch down for my trips.

My wheels are Fuel Anza, 17x8.5”, -6 offset. Tires are Toyo OC AT3, LT285/70R17 Load C. I posted a pic of it in the 4Runners In Scenic Places thread a couple days ago.
