Intro for Mark KA5UTN

Hi, I'm Mark and I live in the Florida panhandle between Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach. We are so far west that we live in the central time zone which surprises a lot of people that Florida even has a central time zone.

I served over 21 years in the Air Force. I was trained in electronics and specifically, Avionics on military aircraft. I've also worked as an electronic Test Technician and a software engineering assistant. Now I'm a Bank on Yourself advisor. I work with people who want to grow and build their wealth without market risks. Although I enjoy working with my clients, it's a bit boring since their money only goes in one direction... up! It increases every year despite the volatility of the market.

I've been married to the same woman for more than 38 years. In that time we owned a 2003 4R which was the best vehicle we've ever owned. With 274K miles on the odometer, it gave up it's "Yota" life protecting my wirfe and I when a 20 year old decided she was going to cut off the distance around a farm road curve in TX and hit us head-on. Now we own a 2019 SR5 4x4 and we are very happy with it.

I'm also an amateur radio operator with the call sign KA5UTN.

Thank you Accelerator. Actually I retired from Hurlburt Field AFB. I was a member of the 16th Special Operations Wing which is now the 1st SOW.
