So I know this is a odd question, but has anyone modified their interior headliner/roof? I have a tall German Shepherd who rides in the back with the second row seats down almost everywhere I go. Therefore dog hair has attached literally everywhere on my interior headliner. I’m guessing the static or something has made it super hard to remove with a lint roller but somehow when my windows are down the wind makes it fly everywhere in my car so I’m looking for some type of solution. I have thought about attaching a flag flush to the roof which would kinda also look cool but I feel like that may pull hair to it even more than a headliner itself. I also can’t use anything hard to keep him from touching the roof because he needs as much room as I can get =\. So if anyone has a good idea, thinks the flag may work, OR thinks I’m just shit out of luck, please please let me know! Thanks!

Exact same problem as you again! Hair everywhere. A flag is a good idea. Need it to be secure with all the windows down & at speed.

Exactly! Especially with the weather cooling down my windows and very back window are always down. I remember seeing a post where people had flags attached to their headliner but don’t remember how they attached them. It will def have to be attached more than just the corners to keep wind from getting in between and ripping it out.. Hopefully someone who’s done it will comment and help us out!

I love the breed, and have owned a few, i call them German Shedders. Even if you find someway to put a flag or whatever, in my opinion it is not going to help much. The hair flows freely with the slightest movement of air, and will get everywhere. After my last one passed i got a Labradoodle, problem solved, and i could not be happier.LOL

They only shed once a year; for 365 days straight! Yeah, there is always hair everywhere (house & T4R). Coming from a golden retriever this is a whole different type of dog. GSD's are a lot of work but very rewarding. I feel as though we are living by his schedule! Lol

Hmm that could be a good idea! Ugh yes he sheds like a maniac but I wouldn’t have it ANY other way!! His name is Thor and 5 years old! Seriously hoping I can find some type of solution tho because just not taking him with me as much just isn’t in the question! Haha
(I was in the process of removing my third row seats and building a flat platform for him in the cargo area so don’t mind the bright blue quilt hahah)

I know what your sayin, i fought the hair for years. Still love the breed, just can’t deal with it anymore. Cosmo is the Doodle, and Sasha.

SO CUTE! Also, question!!! Where did you get that rubber liner?? That’s exactly what I’m looking for! I tried tractor supply and looked at the stall mats but they were way too thick

Until you have Huskies, you don't know what shedding is!

    Solution: Tacoma

I no longer allow dogs inside my vehicles!

It is a truck bed mat, i took some measurements and ordered it on Amazon. Cut it to fit my needs, i got it long so could cut a piece to use as a pull down for Cosmo to jump up without slipping on the bumper.

That is awesome! I just removed my third row seats and built a platform for my dog that is covered with automotive carpet but obviously now I need a cover. Do you remember what brand or where/who it was from by chance? I just searched did really see any like it.. That’s so perfect!

    JUST KIDDING just found some!

    Sorry I was absent,
Had a lot of errands to run. You all have some beautiful animals. I don't want to hijack this into a pet pic thread (we have one). However, because I asked I feel it would be rude to not share a picture of our beast & protector, Rex. He is 85# & almost 3 years old. Not huge but he is full of energy! As you know!

    Gracias,
We got the vest for children. Lots of people don't know how to approach a protection dog. Now they think he is a search & rescue dog and finally leave him alone.
This way he can carry his own water & food!
It is actually a really nice vest that has a huge handle on top to hold if he get crazy.
It has molle, velcro & metal D rings.
I will post a link. Over to Amazon...
