If it's a V8, try to find out if and when the timing belt has been replaced.

My '03 was nearly bulletproof. The only issue aside from maintenance and self inflicted issues was the U-joint on the steering column ceased up sometime after 200K and needed to be replaced. The part was inexpensive, but it was difficult to remove the old one.

    And, welcome to the forum!

4th gen is a very robust vehicle. 2007 will have the later and better cylinder head gasket for the V6.

The moonroof can develop clicking due to sticky tracks. Door lock actuators fail and are replaceable. Air conditioning can develop a leak in the evaporator at high mileage (150k miles and higher). Secondary air system on the V8 can develop problems.

None of these things are serious in my opinion. All of these have solutions and help is available on this site and Youtube.

Look at the normal items on any used vehicle:

    - fluid leaks
    - noises from the engine, transmission or chassis
    - vibrations when driving
    - electrical problems

    Its a V6,
V8 in Europe is rare, only in LC's have I ever seen V8's (on toyota's)

Thanks for the info so far,
hoping to have a look at it tomorrow or friday, will make some pictures and post these here.
