In the last month I've gotten married, retired, sold a home and moved to another home....so a bit delayed in getting any pics up.
Anyway, back in December I was off to get a Jeep and got a text from a buddy who said 'NO!!!', he then called me and told me to get a Toyota.
So here at the 3 month mark I've gotten a few things done...waiting for parts to arrive was the longest part.

I don't wrench, so everything you see was hired out. Everything pictured has been done before except maybe the wind fairing. I did that myself with some plasti-dip and an e-bay decal. I don't 'rock' or crawl either; only time I'm going off-road beside minor forest service roads is by accident.

Only thing I deal with is snow, ice, and cold. In late January we had 4 days in a row where the temp never got above 7F (thus the port for electrical supply to oil pan heater and block heater).

My favorite mod is the Dobinson drawers. We just got back from a 1000 mile round trip to Charleston SC, 4 adults and lots of camera gear. The drawers made it super easy to stay neat and organized with changing lenses/bodies.

The antennas were an issue at 75mph in 30+ mph crosswinds on the high bridges. The CB would whip around all over the place.

For those curious my SWR on my 2m/440 was 1.2 and 1.5. The same guys who did the sound system routed the ham cable to under the driver's seat where an Icom 2730A lives (besides the little Uniden Bearcat CB). For the close looking eye, on top of the Fab Beefy there is a small antenna---that's for a pi-star hot spot for DMR.

Other favorite mod is the sound system. We yanked all Toyota speakers, added an amp under the passenger seat, added tweeters to the driver and passenger pillar (along with the in dash speakers) and added a woofer in the cargo area very much 'built-in'. All speakers are Sony now throughout except the sub, it is a Memphis audio.

Roof top boxes. I didn't detect any wind noise but my doc says I've lost 30 percent of my hearing (old age curse and benefit (see married above). In the boxes are tow straps, shackes (hard and soft), air compressor, big Noco charger (that can run the air compressor), small Kobalt hammer drill, etc.

What else? Hmmm. Oh, not pictured...the beside the center console molle mounts by Victory. Love them! Perfect for a banana holder, microphones, cell phone holder.

Pics. Well most shot here at home....I live in a rain forest (temperate, 300+ days of rain/snow/sleet/ice a year. So image quality, color, suck. Sorry.

Pinstripes, lots of em. Plus a couple dents.
Looks good. I had trouble determining what color you had there. But I see it's white now.
I test drove a Wrangler and a few others before buying my 4Runner.

I stopped at Dixie Gun Works in Union City, TN on the way back home from Florida around about the 1st week of February.
Interesting area felt like we drove over an ice covered mountain at one point.

Very nice! You made a great choice choosing a Toyota over a Chrysler for the long term. Thumbs up for your buddy too!

Outstanding! Nice rig! I would love to see some more detailed shots of your audio setup. That sub looks sweet and discreet. Did you maintain the OEM head unit? How much power are you using in how many channels through the amp? My music is the first issue being addressed and I’m still not sure which way I want to go with it.

    Very nice rig, great job.

Your chrome 'R' on the rear shows up like a silver front tooth in a smile! :D

Thanks everyone! Very much appreciated. Now I've been in it a couple of months I think I'm good with the decision.
Now to move on. Next up is a dual battery setup.
A friend did ask me what the Niteize things are on the Fab Beefy mount. I told him we have flat metal pieces glued to the back of our phones
and sometimes its convenient to just pop them in place.
