The switch stays illuminated even when the light bar is off! I have messed with it but to no avail. Please help!

I'd need to see the wiring on the back of the switch to be sure about anything. It almost sounds like you have two wires sitch around.

Sounds like it to me too. The green is the constant power source and the red is to and from the relay.
