Hi there, I recently purchased a 2023 SR5 4runner. This is my VERY first 4runner so I'm not quite sure what ideal idle rpm. I used to the own a 2017 ford ecoboost mustang and it would idle around 700-750. However, with my 4runner I noticed I idle at park at around 750-800 and drop to 500-600 rpm at drive. Is there some sort of breaking in period, or is this normal? Thank you.

I just checked my '19 with 100K miles, and it sits around 500-600 in drive while stopped. Must be normal. :D

:bowdown:That's reassuring. This my first 4runner and I wanted to make sure I didn't get a lemon. Lol.
