I want to run 35’s

    I have dobinsons 3” lift 600 lbs. currently running 285’s. I am planning on getting 35’s next month, what all would I need to do? I would appreciate any input

    I dont want to do any hands on work myself and i know I need a BMC. So is there a shop all state wide that does this kind of work? There is a shop here in my town but I hear they do shitty work so I might just go with 305’s

    Cut and re-gear.... I love the look but dont want to have to re-gear... Im on 285/70s now and will likely go up to 285/75s next, but that will be the biggest i go on stock gears.

    You will most likely need aftermarket upper control arms as well. You can do the BMC and cut fenders all you want, but unless you can move the caster (tire) forward, you will still probably have issues.

    Too many mods and too much money
    Most people opt for a 4.56 gear with a 315/70/17 tire so they will have more low end torque. A 4.30 gear with a 315/70/17 tire puts you closer to the set up you have now. Typically at 70 mph with your 285s on the stock gear of 3.73 your turning just under 2k rpms, with a 4.30 gear and the 315s you will be turning just over 2k rpms at 70 mph. Keep in mind that your front and rear gear will both need to be changed, which is not a cheap endeavor. 35s are quite the rabbit hole to go down if you want to do it properly. If you don't change your gears and you think your truck is slow now, it will be painfully slower with 35s and no gear change. And not upgrading the gears causes the stress on your transmission and drive train to go up exponentially because of the weight and rolling mass of the larger tire. Good Luck!!
