I need 1 Bilstein 5100 - HELP!

I have tried to purchase all of the mods that I want before the truck arrives. Most everything has been pretty easy to find/buy ... except for the lift kit.

I opted for a 3/2 lift with Bilstein 5100s. Something has been on backorder every time I tried to order something. I finally got all of the springs. I got the rear shocks. I ORDERED the front shocks. When the package arrived, there was only 1 in the box. WTF? Now, I cannot find anyone that has front 5100s in stock. Obviously, I cannot install 3 shocks so my lift kit and tires/wheels is being held up over 1 damn shock.

Anyone have any ideas where I could find 1 5100? I have called every place I know of to call.

I had not contacted HeadStrong Off Road but I just emailed them to see if they have them in stock. Thanks for the lead.

 

I had checked both and neither had in stock and both advised they were on backorder.

I tried Summit and their website states “order may be delayed” but does not give any more information.

 

I received a reply from Head Strong and they do not have them.

 

That’s the first thing I did. I made the purchase through Amazon, however, the seller was a 3rd party. They said that they shipped 2 shocks. The box was all jacked up and re-taped so who knows what really happened. I filed a claim with Amazon and it has to go through a process before I can get a refund. I contacted the seller directly and they said they had to file a claim with UPS. It all sounds like a crock of shit. If nothing else, I will dispute the charge on my credit card.

I have two. lightly used for two years. in great shape. Make me an offer. I was going to post them on FB Marketplace.

 

Because I received 1 when I ordered a set previously. I ordered a set of 2 but only received 1. That same seller is now in the same boat as everyone else with the shocks being on backorder.

 

I thought only I had luck like this.

 

Try calling your local Toyota dealer. When I screwed up the threads on one of my shocks trying to use the "no compressor method (don't do it), I has no choice but to purchase one and only the dealer had a single one in stock. On the other hand I would put in for a back order right away. With the way things are going....the longer you wait....the longer the backorder will be.

The part number is not the same as the one that I have for the front. The part number shown on E-Bay appears to be for a 2003-2009 4Runner. The part number for 2010 and up is 24-196499.
