I bought my new truck on 2023/07/09 (it's a dealer swap car from other dealer)
but I found two service records which happened one month earlier in 2023/06/08 after I registered VIN in Toyota App
    Is it normal?

Those are both make-ready tickets. Normally they don’t enter them into the app portal, but they were picked up in this case. No big deal.

The first is PDI, the second is the add ons including nitrogen filled tires.

Sure. That's possible, but the mileage is documented as 3 miles on both tickets, so whether it was written up as sold (and then unsold - could be the customer's credit didn't get approved or lots of other reasons), it must have not been delivered. Clearly you would be the original owner if that's what your concern is. I worked at a Toyota dealership for several years and we had make-ready (PDI) tickets on every car. And, Spare Parts (above) is correct that a Nitrogen fill isn't normally part of the standard make-ready, but we did nitrogen fills on practically every vehicle sold in the summer heat (and didn't upcharge for it).

Thanks a lot for your input
or is it possible to find some defect during PDI then the previous buyer cancel the sale?
My concern is I didn't find another PDI record on 2023/07/09 when I bought the car one month later

PDI on my car was about 4 days before it was shown "in stock" on their website. Two weeks before the inventory showed it on the lot, I think. The KARR/SDI System was put on after the PDI. I saw the PDI on my owner's page when I added it to my account, it has since dropped off.

Why do PDI again if it was already done?

The manufacturer pays for the PDI to happen when a new vehicle arrives off the truck. It can only happen once because it’s stuff like put center caps on, the torque the lugs, put the wiper blades on, peel the protective coverings off of things, put the owners manual in the glovebox, take transportation blocks out of the suspension, set tire pressures, verify everything functions. It’s a 1 time thing to setup a brand new vehicle when it arrives at a dealership for the first time. There’s nothing abnormal about any of this.

The first dealer wanted to make sure to get that sweet PDI $$ before the dealer transfer took place.

Thanks a lot for all your input on PDI
The experience of my purchase of the car is tricky. I didn't order one and wait for it just buy one in stock
Actually I bought the car from second dealer with 3.6k off normal market price on 2023/07/09(just 4 weeks after initial PDI)
I thought it's normal incentive for several dealers near San Francisco then until I found the initial PDI was done on 2023/06/08
I don't understand why the second dealer will sell the car with lower price after get it from dealer swap so soon?
Thank you so much for all possible hints

Check your paperwork. Likely it is noted as a resale vehicle. If somebody bought the car and financing didn't go through two days later, that becomes a used car.

Because of the recent issues with inventory shortages, I have found that Southern California dealerships have been refusing to do any trades. I doubt inventory has been much better up north.

My experience in July was that two dealerships, both owned by the Wilson Automotive Group ,refused to do a trade that ended up costing both dealerships a sale.

My case is quite different from normal dealer swap?
In normal dealer swap, dealer will offer to coordinate swap a desired car from other dealer after they knew I'm asking for such a car
I bought a stock car which swap has completed before customer occurs?

but what's benefit of second dealer by swap the car?

Maybe the other dealership had a buyer insistent on a particular model...

It's a common 2023 limited trim white color/black leather with fewer factory markup (only 3rd row char) which is not hard to sell

I just noticed battery voltage drops from 12.83v to 12.51v in one week recently
is it possible the dealer found the issue/defect and tried to sell it ASAP?

I don't think this is accurate. If that was true, then anytime somebody applied for financing and was denied, the dealership would get screwed because they are now selling a "used" car.

This is only from "My" prior Dealer experience when I was a dealer tech in the early 2000's with Nissan/Infiniti.

When a truckload of vehicles came in, we had carte blanche once they VIN had been entered into the system to PDI as soon as possible in order to get the vehicle in the system and generate some quick and easy flat rate money. Typically around 2.2 to 2.5 hours depending on the vehicle.

Our PDI, in an overview, consisted of a visual lift inspection, Torquing of lug nuts, Setting tire pressures (shipped at over 55 psi) Under body engine inspection, Test drive with fuel fill up and a check/test of all systems functionality. Final step, if no issues found, was a State inspection. The state I resided in required this.

Once done and all paperwork was wrapped up, This cat could be dealer transferred to any requesting dealer...if the dealers had worked a deal.

So the name of PDI is misleading. Once thought it happened right before customer drove new car off dealer lot
The procedure is actually performed before dealer accepted new car into Toyota tracking system?
I'm suspecting why the second dealer sold the car with ($50800)3k off normal price($54000) just 4 weeks after the first dealer performed PDI
The truck is a normal 2023 limited white color/black leather with fewer factory markup (only 3rd row char) which is not difficult to sell
My truck is manufactured on 2023/04/19 but 1st dealer performed PDI on 2023/06/08 at and I bought it from 2nd dealer on 2023/07/09

What dealer will do in reality if they find defect during PDI?

I wish they had done a couple of PDIs on my 4R prior to my purchase, or at least added one more item to their checklist. I had a rodent-chewed ignition wire that I encountered with 300 miles on the ODO...the evidence showed the little varmints had been there longer than I had owned it.

The issue would be corrected before being set out to sell. This was not a big issue during my 15 years at this dealer. The majority of issues experienced would be battery or tire balance related.

vehicle arrived at first dealership, someone wanted something at your dealership so they swapped vehicles. You dealership then sold it to you. The deal, who knows, you were the right customer at the right time.
