    Sorry everyone, but trying to decide whether to do a CMC first or if I can hold off on it.
    About to order some wheels with The following dimensions:
    17 X 9 6 X 139.7 3.50" -38mm
    I’ll be running 285/70/17. I know I’ll have rubbing but will it be drive able until I get a CMC is what I’m curious about.
    with that said, throw me to the wolves:bananadead:

    edit: 4runner will be lifted.​

    I've heard of 285's fitting without a BMC. That is a lot of negative offset, though.

    You might get by temporarily by removing the mud-flap, and adjusting the fender liners. There's no guarantee, though. It seems to be different for each vehicle, depending on the alignment and whatever specific tires you choose.

    Yeah, I think the wise choice for now is to run smaller offset wheels. I had 275’s on my Tacoma with a -10mm offset wheels on 1” lift and it fit perfect I’m sure with that much offset a 285 should be fine.
