Hi all. I’ve tried to research through the forum before posting, but just seeking some possible clarification. I have an 06 limited v8 with about 170k on it. Just in the last few days started noticing a humming sound that I think is coming from the driver side. I start to notice it around 30-40mph and it will go down and away as I slow down and stop. It also goes away when I turn right and come back as I return to center or turn left. I’m thinking a wheel bearing on the driver side? If it is a wheel bearing is it best to replace both up front or just the one that needs it? TIA

To me a noise described as "humming" I would first suspect a suspension bushing has aged and possible allowing road and engine vibration into a frame component that you hear.
Have you rotated tires to eliminate a tread sound?

Just to update it was the front driver side bearing. Got it replaced and now no more sound. Thanks
