    Good evening folks,

This is the first forum I have ever participated in. I have been twisting wrenches for over 50 years and have a good feel for the “old” stuff, but the newer not so much. My wife and I just purchased a 2024 4Runner. Here’s my question, is it possible to install manual locking hubs on a 2024 4Runner TDR Premium? Thanks in advance for your help. VicRet’d!

You would void your warranty for that part of the truck. It would be super expensive and, for the most part, not worthwhile. I'm not sure if there is even a dedicated "kit" out there for it. Welcome to the forum!

I get the desire for manual locking hubs, but these systems are quite reliable if maintained and exercised on a regular basis.
The only other option is to trade for a Limited that has a full time front axle.

Why? Other than "old school". PITA conversion, PITA to use.
