Had my Nautical Blue 7-seater a couple of weeks now, time to mess with it! Does anyone know what these dealer/factory nerf bars are called and if they're doing anything?

    Welcome.

Those nerf bars won't protect your 4R like an actual rock slider would when taking a hit. But they do serve a purpose if you or someone you know needs them when stepping into the vehicle, or washing the vehicle, stuff like that.

Thanks! Love the color but I really need to clay/buff/ceramic coat it soon to tone down the swirls, that should be fun.

I knew the bars weren't exactly beefy but I couldn't find the same part online, the step sections match the tread on the rear bumper like the factory running boards.

No rock crawling in my near future, just lots of potholes and the occasional beach. Got 5100s and 1" cornfed rear spacers on the way.

Welcome. The color looks great. The bars are called "Dealer Profit" and they are good for two things, a step to get in and draining your wallet.

I like the whole rig, the color, roof cross bars, tires/wheels. I’d probably sell the step in bars to offset the cost of the 5100s and cornfeds. Welcome to the forum!
