My last 4runner, a 1986, 4cly, 5 sp manual, 4X4 with 300K and too many upgrades to list.
My wife and I finally had enough time and money to go on a honeymoon, 20 years after the fact. During our brief 4 day trip to Mexico we returned to find the runner had been rammed into an aluminum lamp post, leaving the front grill in a U shape and the entire top crushed in. The driver drove 2 blocks until the lamp post fell a way. They were able to limp it home where it sat leaking fluids until our return home.

It is time to let my 2016 Chevy Suburban LTZ 4X4 go and would like to jump back into a 4runner. Really want the standard transmission. Not available in the U.S.A. You'd think that I could order one.

Anyone got a good ideas to satisfy my ahunvis to quench that thirst?

    Welcome aboard!

The only way to get a manual transmission is to get a 3rd gen 96-02. The 5-spd. was available with both the 4 banger and the V6.
