How to reseal transmission rear between xfer?

    transmission rear seal between xfer what goes there?

    looks like orange silicone gasket maker of some sort along the length of the casing it leaks pretty horribly im just wondering what all i need to reseal?

    There shouldn't be any fluid between on the interface between the transfer case and the transmission. If there is fluid coming out of there, the oil seal at the output of the transmission or the input of the transfer case might be leaking.

    The transmission and transfer case come from the factory sealed with a reddish gasket maker. If you do need to reseal either of them, your local Toyota dealership should sell it.
