Replaced the dunslops with e rated wildpeak at3w at 400 miles. Put them on offerup for 220 obo and they sold within an hour for 180. Not sure if it was too cheap lol but im happy with that

    Agreed with @Dillusion .

I thought I was going to have to give them away. I got $100 for all 4 with 1300 miles.

Discount Tire gave me $200 off a set of Falken tires for the Dunlops.

That's crazy. America's tire (same company as discount tires) told me they were pretty much worthless and to sell them on my own

I feel pretty good about getting 100 a piece for the stock tires, that's what the dealership gave me for them....... we put the money toward the purchase of the Cooper tires, and I'm sure we "paid" dearly for the Coopers... hard to get over on the dealerships.

I traded them in at 100 miles and oktire in town credited me 500 cad (388usd) - solid deal. They installed the Falkens which I purchased through them.

I sold mine for $100 each. All five, the dealer installed the new tires and the buyer picked them up from the dealership. I never really saw them. I put on K02s, and they’ve been great. I think it helped that the OEM Tire’s basically had 0 miles on them and the buyer could pick them up from the dealer. I’d do it this way again, for sure.

Any suggestions on what I should offer my rims and tires for ? They came off of a 2020 SR5 Premium and the tires are 165 70R 17s Uniroyal Tigerpaws without the TPMS. I put them on LetGo for $800 assuming there would be some haggling but I haven't even had a lowball offer yet.

Thanks in advance for any input.

I'm planning on running my bridgestones dueler HT's until I have traction problems. I'm too poor to buy new tires right now, with covid 19 and all.
Just going to use them and abuse them! The only good thing I can say for them, is I get good fuel mileage

I'm curious what you will get out of them. I was thinking of doing the same on mine. New rims are inbound and thinking of taking advantage of Toyo's buy 3 get 1 free on some ATIIIs. So I'm thinking just sell the SR5 tires & rims with less than 300 miles on them as a package.

A bit off topic, but op how is the ride with e rated wildpeaks? I just put p rated wildpeaks on and was going back and forth between the p and e rated.

I'm pretty sure it's a regional thing and up to the manager. When I got DT credit for my OEM Dunlop tires toward the purchase of Toyo ATs, they told me that's the same tire as many pickups around here come with and they'd have no problem turning them over.

Same here. Plus, I've shopped at this DT for many years. I'm sure they'll turn around and sell the tires they gave me $200 towards the Falkens for $400-500 to somebody.

List up the stock dunlap's on a f150 forum. Turns out they are a stock size and they don't know how bad they suck yet.. 400 to 500.
I didn't know and put mine on CL. Email lit up and sold in minutes

Hey D animal, E rated are not needed on a light vehicle like a 4 Runner in general, but I have them on mine because of northern gravel roads, and to have a stronger side wall when I air down in the trail. I thought they’d be stiff and rough around town, but I was surprised they weren’t. I’d be willing to bet if you drove my 4 Runner and tried to guess the tire rating you would only get it on a lucky guess. You might notice they bring a heavy solid feel to the vehicle but they don’t run stiff. I run K02s and they’re very civilized - comfortable and smooth.

Oldtoyotaguy, I run E rated Coopers for the same reasons you do, they aren't too bad in the ride dept. Just because they will handle 80lbs. of air doesn't mean they don't have good manners at 35lbs.

I was primarily interested in e rated because tread depth is quite a bit deeper when you move to lt sizes.

I reccomend e rated. I hate p rated wildpeaks on my taco and while an excellent offroad and on road tire, had to trash and replace 2 of them (both relatively new) after they got gashes on the sidewall from moderate off roading

Kind of finding that out, myself. I didn't want the weight of the E rated Falkens at the time.

I found a vertical cut on the sidewall of my Drivers Side Front Falken Wildpeak. I paid for all the extra insurance on the tires from Discount Tire and had them replace it a couple weeks ago. Also bought 2nd tire for the spare.

Discount tire put the new tires on the rear and rotated 1 of the older tires to the spare. Cost about $215 all said and done.

Just sold mine last week for $300. Had them on CL for months with no takers. Also had the original wheels and tires off of my Yukon on there for $100. Both sets sold within a week of each other.

Here in another few weeks, I'll be installing the 33" Cooper Evolution MTs and ditching the stock-size Goodyears. 15,000 miles on the Goodyears and they still have 90% tread. Great looking tire and awesome in the dirt and mud, but in snow, the rock-hard rubber compound is scary.

I'll sell those for $300 as well. Hopefully the buyer doesn't ask how they do in the snow.

I've had mine listed for $400 for almost a month now. They have 600 miles on them. Only one bite so far and he was a flake.

Limited has 3" lift with a larger tire, 20" rim, windows, bug shield, remote start. Pro will get similar treatments
I'll be selling my set off the 21 TRD Pro within a couple hundred miles; was hoping for around 1600. Trying to find the lift/level for it then tires and wheels. I like the thought of the Falkens but was told they were trashy-I assume its because they say the rubber is soft but under the 4Runner I think they'd be fine. I'm running Coopers on my limited but keeping options open. I still can't believe the difference in weights of tires-all these vehicles and years of not paying much attention.
