How much are real used TRD Pro wheels worth?

Looking to get some different rims and just curious how much real trd pro worth? I know reps are about $700 and I know people would rather spend 700 on reps than real ones but just gauging in the price scale, no cracks,bends,rashes or bruises

 

Depending on which TRD Pro wheels exactly, if shipping, and condition. Range would be $400 - $800.

 

A new set will run you about $850 so if they are in good condition I'd say $800 is a pretty good place to start.

 

I don't see a practical reason to pay money for stock TRD Pro wheels.

Compared to TRD Offroad wheels, TRD Pro wheels are skinny and not rated to run bigger tires. Also the valve stem does not have any kind of cover like TRD Offroad wheels.

IMO its better to pay a good aftermarket wheel that atleast exceed TRD Offroad wheel functionality.

Those trd pro wheels are also the worst to clean.. so many damn surfaces to gather mud.

That,s why TRD ORP wheels are with in spec to run common bigger tires like 285/70R17 or 285/75R17 vs TRD Pro does not.

 

...and if you get them in Bronze, then you see all dirt, mud and brake dust in the small crevice's. They do take a bit longer to clean, but once they're clean, they really stand out and look cool.

 

Following this thread out of curiosity.

I have a set of black TRD Pro wheels (older style) for sale here in North Texas. I will likely post them up for 600-700.
I actually like the look quite a bit but they're too narrow for the tire size I run. Plus the offset puts me off and I didn't want to run spacers.

 

Damn I'd be all over them at that price.

Eh its all relative. I'll casually drive from Dallas to North Arkansas for weekend trips. Meeting you in Memphis wouldn't be out of the question if you change your mind.

For wheels alone? Yes, thats a big drive. But making a trip out of it, seeing local sights, eating local grub, setting up camp in beautiful Tennessee? Seems like a fun 3-4 day trip to me. In an effort of not jamming up this thread suffice it to say PM me if you change your mind

 

Look for a set of these instead - OEM seven spoke 17"x7.5" offroad wheels in charcoal color from a 2021-22 Trail Special Edition Black metal flake with a clearcoat finish that is easy to clean . I found a set for $900 used but looked brand new and half the cost of new

If new are $850, I wouldn't even consider used for $800 nor would I bother trying to negotiate that down, I'd just buy new figuring that anyone asking $800 for used is out of their mind.

If I was selling, I wouldn't ask $800 because if new is $850, used aren't worth $800.

 

Buying used wheels is sus. No guarantee on lack of micro fractures.

Interesting. Lowest I could find these from an actual OE distributor is 900. Plenty of distributors are asking above 950.

Below 850 you can buy new replicas. But finding OE TRD wheels below 850 is might take a little searching. Also that's not factoring in shipping... Aand the fact that if you're buying them used that person might throw in lug nuts and locking lug nuts for free (Since a lot of aftermarket wheels require different lug nuts)

Personally I would trust used OEM wheels a lot more than replica wheels made as cheap as possible.
These things will likely last 500,000 miles of normal driving without a problem.
