How Many 4runners Have You Owned

How many 4runners have you bought or owned? My first one I bought was for my son a 2005. After that I loved the 4runner and I bought a 2012 SR5 Premium. Since then I bought a 2018 SR5 base. Recently I bought a 2024 SR5 Premium, in white. I wanted to enjoy the legacy of the 5th gen for a few more years with worry free ownership. Maybe one day I will go turbo in that new larger 6th gen.

Just two and I still have them.
+ Three Toyota pickups,(83, 85, 86), all including the 1990 4R had either the 22R or 22RE.

 

My 2019 is my first. I kind of bought it on a whim because my Tacoma was totaled and my GTO started leaking oil pretty badly. I had always liked them but wanted a pickup.

Just 1. A 1992 that I bought in 1994 and still have. I have also owned a 2002 Taco Prerunner for a bit.

2003 Limited Black, which I still have with 200,000 miles and still looks new.. Original spark plugs still... Runs like the day it was new...

All were bought new... Kept trading when warranty ran out...
Traded a Supra for the first Runner...
Plus I've had 2 Tundra's ... 2015 I still have... only 39,000 miles on it...

Had a 2018 limited for a year or so, now my 22 ORP. Prior I’ve had 3 tacos, well 2 and a yota pick up.

 

Just this one, and I don't see myself ever getting another.

My 2008 has the auto shut actuator, i disassembled it and it appears like i can make it fit on the 5th gen. I ordered a used one off ebay and have it sitting for a rainy weekend when i am not busy and i am going to try to mock it up on my 5th gen.

 

Care to explain this "trail edition" or do you have pix?
2008 options were standard/base, SR5, Sport, Limited, and Urban Runner.

 

This is my first 4Runner. I always liked 5th gen but considered it to be too big for my needs. Relatives had 2000s-era Highlander that was ultra-reliable, so I decided I wanted some of that in my life.

It would have been third Outback, but Subaru dropped the ball with CVTs and thermal control valve. Poor reliability of Subarus and replacing all buttons with a giant screen is what pushed me over.

 

Woops I meant 2009 Trail Edition. Don't have any pics on my phone but was silver with small lift and 5th gen trail wheels.
