Looking to get some Westcott Designs angled TIG/DOM powder coated sliders with plates on top. They come with grade 8 ZINC coated bolts.

I live in CT and we get a good amount of snow. I want to put rock sliders on but don't want rust to take over the bottom of the vehicle as I will be driving it a lot in snow.

Anyone have any experience with this?

Skip the top plates. They collect the salty, slushy mess and is a pain to wash off in winter. I have top plates and wish I didn't. Can't help with the powder coat. I bought my sliders in-the-raw and went the POR 15 route.
Have you looked at these? It's what I have.

I have the same WD sliders minus the angle. If you are going to do angled I would skip the top plates as noted from Stoney Ranger. All of their products are top notch and have taken mine all over with no rust. If you have any questions reach out to Jeff and his team at WD as they will be more than happy to answer your questions!!
