After looking at Pedal Commander, Sprint Booster, IDrive, and Hikeit throttle controllers, I decided to give the Hikeit X9 a try. I installed it to the left of the steering wheel where I can see it while driving without looking down and reach it with my left hand. I’ve only driven about 75 miles with it so far, but I really enjoying it. I like sport 5 for general driving around as it allows precise and predictable throttle control which will likely increase my gas mileage, only time will tell. In highway stop and go traffic I like the city 5 setting, it’s a little smoother when stopping and starting a lot. I imagine I’ll use Ecco 1 when I valet it and possibly when off-roading. It’s on sale right now for $118, I have no affiliation with the company, and it’s the best $118 I’ve spent on the vehicle.

Great to hear all this. My X9 came in this week, but the ORP won't arrive until Spring. Looking forward to the same results.

Question as noobie - how would adding something like this (I'm waiting on 2022 TRD Pro) affect the warranty? I've never had the time or inclination to customize before, but feel like I might.

Unless the aftermarket part directly causes an issue with your vehicle and you try to use the warranty for the specific part that broke due to your aftermarket mods, your vehicle is still completely covered under warranty.

Realistically if and when you need warranty work done, just remove the aftermarket shit before you bring it in

If you are worried about warranty work, it would be easy to remove the Hikeit controller by unplugging it; it’s on a separate wire. The rest of the wires could be left in place and it would work as stock. The techs would not see it if they were not looking under your dash; heck my guess is they wouldn’t even know it if they were under there if the control head was removed.
