Hi, new here

Just discovered this forum when looking to by my first used 4Runner soon!

In the Nashville TN area and it's so hard to find any that I think would work out for us. (2007 to 2017 up to $17K) Don't want to pay xtra if I don't have to, for any out of state.

Need to search around this forum to get more info and advice. I'm an older gal (late 50s) and my "hugsband" and I are just wanting to find something reliable that has good towing and off road capable.

Been researching 4Runners for a bit and I can see they are the best choice for what we're looking for. Also heard they are the best for towing capacity in their class.

If you’re looking at used 4Runner, always check the under-carriage/frame for rust.

Sometime paying a little more up front will save you $ and headaches…

Thank you all for your greetings. Update: Just purchased a 2013 Toyota 4Runner SR5 2WD (originally wanted a 4WD, but eeehs ok) from a private seller.

Talked the owner down from 22K to 20,500K. It's in immaculate condition inside and out. My mechanic said it checked out just fine.

Found out that the 2013's were supposedly the last ones to have the older "truck" frame instead of the "car" type frame. Don't know if this is true. It definitely drives like a truck. Sooo nice to drive!

Used to an older 2004 Saturn VUE that's seen her days...
So thrilled to finally have a 4Runner!
