I can not get the upper grill section off. Upper plastic shroud is off, and the clips on either side by the headlight are out, and the 10mm bolt is out. I've pushed the 2 tabs on the passenger side down, tried using a flathead, have vaselined them, and have a trim tool wedged into both and this doesnt give. So much so the truck rocks when I pull. What am I doing wrong??20240317_180333.jpg

Those other flathead clips dont seem to be the hangup but maybe? Little help is appreciated

Update. I guess I just wasnt using enough profanity. I was also pulling way too slowly. I cant believe nothing broke, but I just yanked the thing instead of trying to gradually pull.

    Oooh look, another mod.....

I hope you're talking about getting the grill off your truck!

P.S. Show us picture of it when you're done (the grill, that is)

Its not like anyone here doesnt know what the before looked like but there she is. The plastic(or my fit job) on the new upper grill is keeping the front-most driver side clip from going in. The other 12 are all in so I assume it will be fine unless I can hear a rattle. 20240317_190306.jpg

Where'd you end up getting the paint-matched center cover with the TOYOTA letters from?
