Help Needed: Exterior Driver Door handle not opening from outside

    2000 White 4Runner Limited
    Hi everyone - I just bought a 2000 4runner and am trying to figure out how to fix an issue I'm having with the driver-side door. The door opens from the inside but will not open using the exterior door handle. It also locks/unlocks with the key fob so I don't think it's an issue with the actuator, but I could be wrong. Thanks in advance for any help/tips!

    If it feels "loose" on the outside, it's most likely broken.

    Buy a new handle, it's a 5 minute replacement.
