I bought a T4R V6 with 250K on in a couple months back ran great head gaskets were replaced recently. I replaced the suspension, gaskets, exhaust, engine tune up, repainted, etc. I haven't driven the vehicle more than 100 miles since I bought it. Now after all the work I have put into it, it has developed an intermittent cylinder 6 misfire. Starts up great, the idle is fine (~700 RPM), but when you hold the throttle down ~3000 RPM, you can hear it spudder/pop (it also sucks in a piece of paper when this is heard). When driving it, it has no loss of power or rough idle that others have experienced. I am just hoping that it is not a burnt valve. Does anyone have any experience with this issue? Thanks for your help!

I recall from the taco forums that intermittent misfire can be a loose connection inside the plug coils

not sure if it applies to yours but if you have the plug coils take one out and see if the inner metal thing is loose and jiggly, if it is that could be your issue

Which motor? The 3.0 or the 3.4 V6?
