    Hi Everybody!

I just bought a 2nd gen 4Runner SR to keep my 93 Pickup company in the driveway. Of course she needs a bunch of TLC starting with the clutch. I've had to put them in every manual trans vehicle I have bought including the last 2 pickups. This will be my first 4x4 however. I only want to do this once so I'm looking for recommendations for which clutch to get. Also I'm interested in possibly putting in a gen 3 clutch and flywheel which I understand is possible and maybe preferable. I want to keep the pedal forces close to stock so I don't want super heavy duty. I know how to drive a stick and I won't be abusing the clutch. The last new Toyota I bought still had the original clutch working fine when I sold it to my brother in law with 300k miles.

Thanks in advance for all your suggestions!

    Neil

Welcome from Wisconsin! LC Engineering is a good place to start, they are Toyota specialists.

IIRC (and I might not) the 5vz and 3vz used the same R150 manual so there might be some crossover on parts.
I would second the LCE recommendation. They've been doing good stuff for a long time and bonus, they're here in AZ.
    I'd give them a call.
