Hello everyone! I'm excited to join the 4Runner community and learn about all the ins and outs of 4Runners. And also decide what exact mods I want and where to order them from.
This will be my very first 4Runner and is my dream car so I'm anxiously waiting on my dealership to call me to tell me it's ready for pick up!
It's a college graduation gift to me from me! And of course for my huskies as well :)

I only had the 4Ravs, I got the 2011 Rav4 as my first car when I got my license. Then upgraded to the 2020 Rav4, but when I heard the 2022 4Runner having blind spot monitor and rear cross-traffic I just had to upgrade!

I spoke with my salesman that I purchase my recent Rav4 from and he told me that the dealership wouldn't buy the price I was asking for my 2020 Rav4, and told me to try to private sell it before my 4Runner came in. I was able to sell my 2020 Rav4 for such a great price, especially with this chip shortage. I didn't lose as much money as if I were to trade it in.

So this is my first time ordering a car and wasn't sure what to expect. I went in 08/14, and put my $500 deposit down, and signed the invoice for my 4Runner. They told me it would take about 3-4 months because of everything going on. I ordered it pretty simple and didn't do any add ons besides the KDSS and all-weather floor mats. I wanted to do everything else on my own once I got the car because that's the fun part for me!
So, being impatient I called the dealership today to get an update on my car. They told me that it had arrived at the Portland Port on 10/6, and now just waiting for the freight status to see when it will get delivered to the Dealership. They are thinking 1-3 weeks, but I'm curious about how long others took for them to receive their 2022 4Runners?

Portland, Oregon to Seattle is about 3-3.5 hours which isn't too far. I'm just so impatient and have never been car-less before. So, this is hard...

Hopefully, it comes soon so I take it up to the mountains with my fur babies!! I'm soooo excited to see how they'll react to the rear window!

I also have already purchased these cargo liners that I saw in a Youtube video. So husky hairs won't stick on the back of the seats. Thier production time is about 3 weeks!

Another thing I plan to do is plasti dip the emblems, front and rear bumpers since they will be silver and I'm going for the black on white look. I've watched Youtube videos, but do you have any tips for that?

I also want to do ceramic coating as well, I've also seen Youtubers do it, but I'm wondering if it's better to get it professionally done? I'm pretty hands-on with my car stuff and rather learn myself if possible.

Let me know if you have any cool mods that you think would look dope on a 2022 white 4Runner!

Wow, how exciting! I hear the stock tires are not that good in icy/snow conditions. But with the short wheelbase, weight distribution, and ofcourse 4WD, they can’t be that bad.

I actually towed my boat home with a flat front passenger tire. I didn’t even notice a difference.

Good to know! I was thinking about changing the tires as well for all weather since here in Seattle, we have all 4 seasons. Sometimes even in one day we have all the season’s weather lol!
