I bought a 2019 TRD Off Road and absolutely love it!!! We had an outback and the CVT transmission didn't like towing anything at all. So we got the 4runner. This is our first 4R and we have plans to keep it forever.

We are moving from Alaska to New York next month while towing a custom built trailer. I will keep you guys and gals posted on the trip. We plan to camp two days and stay in a hotel for a day until the rip is complete.

Once we get to NY we will upgrade tires and lift, among other items.

Welcome from Utah! Hope NY will be less smokey than Alaska is right now.

It calmed down a lot here by Anchorage. Then Fairbanks started to burn. I had my windows open at night and I woke up to a house that smelled like a campfire was started in the living room.

Yay Alaska. I worked up there for 4 summers, ~18 months total, and I'd say it was fiery and smokey for about half of that time.

In the last three years this would have to be the only summer I have noticed any smoke from fires. There may have been some in other summers but this was definitely bad.

Our son went opposite Drum to Wainwright. Drove both times. Out, loaded huge ass uhaul pulling his WRX STI and back driving his Silverado. Oh and his trusty shepard side kick who has logged one hell of alot of miles : ) with him.
