Will be picking her up on Friday. 2021 Pro with a 1” level kit for the front and 275s added. Had to pay a bit over MSRP for a Pro but managed to get the color I wanted and not leave SD County. Got them to add the level and the tires for the extra cost. Definitely overpaid a smidge but I didn’t want much else in the way of lift or tires, didn’t want to deal with it on my own and can afford it. Best part was the 7 day wait. Saw the dealer added it to their new inventory on their website and called immediately. It was already on the way to dealer and no one had yet claimed it. Drove up and finalized the deal last week and then left town for a few days. It's waiting for me upon return. IT will be a daily driver but I don't put much miles on during normal use. Will definitely get most of it's mileage via desert camping trips and camp/surf trips to Baja!

Rack will probably be up for sale soon for anyone interested. I don't love it and I don't think it's going to work for surfboards when I do go to Baja.

Thanks for all of the info this forum has provided. Definitely got a ton of education from you guys over the last 2-3 months confirming my desire for a 4runner and allowing me to focus on the Pro. Gonna miss the V8 in my Grand Cherokee but not much else. Lease is up in 45 days and I never loved the vehicle (hence the lease). Always wanted a 4runner. Should have bought one instead of my Blazer back in 1993. Can't wait to roll down the rear slider. Such a cool feature.

Sweet! Looking to jump on a MGM Pro shortly myself! The local dealerships here have just recently bumped them up $1,500 - $5,000 above MSRP due to the shortage in deliveries. Currently there are three MGM Pro's within 1 - 2 hours of me that have been on their lots for 1 - 4 weeks. But it gnaws at me to pay above MSRP which is a recent revelation in this area (Maryland)! Plenty of built-in profit in the Pro's to begin with. I have done the same incubating from initially wanting a Tacoma to a 4Runner, to the Pro or ORP debate! Finally decided to definitely make it a Pro, but the thought of waiting to see what new Pro color and new wrinkles will be available in the 2022 are starting to creep in. Not in a hurry, but feel compelled to make it happen since it took me so long to get to this point!

Totally agree with you about the Pro roof rack! I have never liked it aesthetically or functionally, and will promptly remove it as well!

If there were multiple options within 2 hours from me I would push for msrp. Just not the case in So Cal. I actually had a good referral to another local dealer through a friend of the owner. Their GM confirmed what many told me during my search. We have none available and the next 2-3 that are assigned to us are spoken for.

I wasn’t into a special color plus my lease is up soon so waiting for a 22 wasn’t an option. Definitely glad to just get it done.

I am also at the point of "just get it done"! Driving my wife and kids (17 - 21) nuts with this obsessive process! For tax purposes it would make sense for me to get this done this year.

Getting close to pulling the trigger on a MGM Pro. Dealer A has one at $1,000 above MSRP. Dealer B has one on lot and one due to arrive any day at $1,000 above MSRP for either. Dealer C has one at $4,000 above MSRP. Little wiggle room due to the production shortage!
