    08 SR5, 07 Sport Edition RIP
    Bone stock
    Just bought an 08 SR5 after my 07 Sport Edition finally hit that point with 201k of hard service (torque converter shudder, massive dent on rear hatch, too many little things, front axles needing replacement service). Did the TPMS delete on the 07 a while back, and just did it on my "new" 08 (189k super clean). Glad I read the TPMS delete thread again on here, as I would not have known that the 08+ and 03-07 have different colored ground wires! Love these 4th gen runners, use primarily on Cape Cod NPS beaches and on dirt roads. Use the 4runner as a photography blind and shelter in harsh weather. No need for mods other than good on/off road tires, but looking forward to more remote forest service roads in the future. Might put on a different skid plate at some point... Havent gotten stuck yet, but pulled plenty of people out.
